Exhibition project by Paula Kajzar

On the stage of our lives, an invisible drama unfolds, which binds us together, a drama of endless plots created by our moods and feelings. We are involved in our real-life relationships, but besides those actors, coming from the outside world, everyone hides inside one psyche Animus or Anima, our spiritual essence, two elements in constant motion … which are responsible for the differences that define our genders. Continuous seeking, desiring, finding each other, breaking up, disbanding, an endlessly involving wheel of Ying and Yang. The frenetic research, of peace and balance between solitude and love, even within ourselves that we all pursue, gives rise to this project. Using the technique of creative movement I want to involve the viewer in this journey but leaving him also a possibility for various, free interpretations. The theatrical environment where these photographs were spontaneously captured formed the ideal setting to fulfil the metaphor. Exhibition in ARPS &Co Gallery Amsterdam 2008-2012, Affordable Art Fire, Amsterdam Italian Institute of Culture, Ottava Photo Festival 2010.
